- Current Account deposit shall not attract any interest.
- The higher rate of interest of 0.50% is offered to senior citizens on all term deposits(FD/LTCC/RD) irrespective of the amount and the period of deposits.
- The Higher rate of interest of 0.50% is to be given to individuals who deposit Rs. 15.00 Lakh and above at a time for a period of one year and above with effect from 20-01-2011 (RBIcircular No.RPCD. CO.RF.BC. No.36/07.38.01.2007-08, dated 14-11-2007)
